Sae Taw Win II Dhamma Center, in a rural area of Northern California, offers cheerful, bright and cozy rooms in the Dhamma House for both short-term and long-term residents.

The rooms are light and airy with shared kitchen and bath. A deposit of $100 is required.


Residential Training Program

A one-month residential intensive as a Guest-Student is offered at Sae Taw Win II Dhamma Center. Students can attend four weekly classes and occasional seminars and events and will be closely taught by an experienced tutor. Opportunity to practice mindfulness in day-to-day life in a supportive, small-group setting.

If desired, a longer intensive period of six months to a year is offered.

Dr. Thynn, the founder and resident teacher, has studied with Burmese masters and practiced daily life mindfulness for thirty years as a householder. She has been teaching for twenty years in Thailand, Australia, and the United States.

Program fee is $500 per month. Retreatant will supply their own food. There is a community kitchen and shared bath.
