Summer Dhamma Drop-in

Applied Mindfulness Inquiry & Practice

Join us this summer for in-depth exploration of a variety of topics such as:
Emptiness and Non-Self, Equanimity, The Four Sublime States (Brahma Vijaras), and more.

Alternating Saturdays at 1 pm Pacific Time beginning May 16 and ending August 15.

Students will generate their own practice homework based on topics discussed.
Each session will begin with practice check-ins. Teacher / facilitator will keep the conversation on topic & guide inquiry. Open to former students including those attending workshops only.

Sessions will be 1 – 1½ hours. Online (Zoom) only.

Daily Life Mindfulness Practice – new class!

Find you need more awareness in your daily life?  Come learn the techniques of Daily Life Mindfulness.  Learn to be more present and handle the ups & downs of life easier. Please join us for this course.

Monday  Evenings 6:30 – 8:30 PM
12 weeks starting March 5th with Jane Sipe and Adam Titone.

Jane and Adam together  have 30 years Mindfulness training and practice with Dr. Thynn Thynn. Jane has been teaching Mindfulness in Daily Life for the past 10 years and Adam has twice taken short term ordinations as a Buddhist Monk at the Half Moon Bay Dhamma Nanda Wihara Buddhist Monastery.

Classes by donation (suggested donation $15 to $20). No one will be turned away for lack of funds.

New beginning class September 7!

“Meditate Without Meditating or Off the Cushion Mindfulness”

Dr. Thynn and Melissa Titone will be starting a new beginning class the first week of September. This class is open to any new student and all returning students who wants a refresher.

Thursday evenings, 6:30-8:00pm beginning September 7th. The classes will be recorded for distance learning and those that can’t make a class.
There will be hands on training of how to apply the practice while one moves throughout the day. This will be done without silent sitting. Some background knowledge of the practice from Theravada Buddhism will be taught during the class.

The class will run for 10 sessions. Classes are by donation (suggested donation $10-20).
